LISA VIONIis an actress, producer, and business woman. After an eleven-year stint in finance, Ms. Vioni traded Wall Street for Broadway to pursue a lifelong desire for a career in theater. She quickly created the Urban Island Theatre Group and Urban Island Productions through which she has produced Off Broadway and Broadway productions. Ms. Vioni’s most recent accomplishment on Broadway includes Sixteen Wounded (2004) starring Judd Hirsch and Long Days Journey Into Night (2003) starring Vanessa Redgrave and Brian Dennehy, for which she won a 2003 Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for best revival of a play on Broadway. Currently Ms. Vioni is a producer on the upcoming Broadway musical Little Women (2005). In addition, she is developing a performance piece called Velocity and is the Producer on the feature film Funny starring Kathleen Turner. Finally, Ms. Vioni is the CEO of Investment Management Resources, a hedge fund marketing related company. Lisa received a BA from Smith College in French studies and economics.
